We are looking for a Business Development Executive

Your role will be seeking new business opportunities by contacting and developing relationships with leads and potential customers. To be successful in this role, you should have previous experience developing leads and developing new relationships. You will use your communication skills to cultivate strong relationships with customers, from the first contact until you close the deal. You will be responsible to ensure proper after-sales service. Ultimately, you will boost sales and contribute to our long-term business growth and will have the possibility to expand your technical and personal skills.

  REQUIREMENTS

  • University degree in International Commerce, Economics, Commercial Management, Events Management, Sales or Marketing & Communication
  • A minimum of 3-5 years of proven sales experience in Fairs, Congresses, Stands & Events sector. Experience as a Business Development Representative, Sales Account Executive or similar roles in the international market will be highly valued
  • Strong selling skills. Proven closing and forecasting skills. Customer oriented is a must
  • Track record of achieving sales quotas
  • Capacity for preparing and monitoring annual budgets
  • Creative concept of sales, flexibility to adapt to different situations and able to communicate on different levels
  • Ability to work towards objectives, plan their own agenda
  • Results-oriented performance and high degree of autonomy
  • Proactive, organized and self-motivated
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • High level of speaking and writing English (Advanced). The interview will be done in English. Other languages will be highly valued
  • Experience with CRM software and Microsoft Office
  • Availability to travel

 

FUNCTIONS

Reporting to the Sales Director the selected candidate will be responsible for:  

  • Achieving assigned economic and commercial targets
  • Identifying, through market and customer profiling, high potential revenue opportunities in the Stands & Events industry, to select the prospective clients and fairs in Europe and worldwide
  • Evaluate leads as sales opportunities
  • Expanding client’s portfolio and establishing new contacts. Identify client needs and suggest appropriate products/services
  • Build long-term trusting relationships with existing clients
  • Proactively seek new business opportunities in the market
  • Developing business and maximizing proactive sales methods on the market: sales calls, to make pitches, client briefings. The project design and budget will be taken by the Technical Department, the responsibility of the Business Developer will be limited to the commercial sales
  • Understanding Mac Group products and services to build up new segment customer relationships and develop valuable revenue opportunities
  • Prepare periodical reporting package on business development
  • Effective responding to RFPs and delivering complex sales proposals both in person and writing. Being able to do company presentations and catch opportunities for new projects
  • Maintaining and updating the database of clients and prospective, CRM

This position will be developed with the technical team support, having a wide rage of knowledge of the working processes in the Stands & Events market
